After delving into the culture of golf we developed many insights into what stirs consumers. Through a sequence of new programs—first the 300 series, then the 500 series, and more recently the r7—we encoded the clubs with aesthetics that deeply resonated with the world’s most influential golfers—professional players. Word started spreading. We also helped refine technological advancements, like TaylorMade’s Movable Weight Technology, that drove performance levels to new heights. Golf balls (and sales) went soaring.
