PROJECT: Life|ware™ Home Automation Systems

We designed and engineered dozens of electronic products for Exceptional Innovation; the developes of Life|ware™. Life|ware™ is groundbreaking software that allows you to integrate your home’s lighting, HVAC, security and entertainment into one system. Knowing there would be a need for different ways to control this system, Exceptional Innovation asked us to help design a family of controllers, monitors and other hardware.

We created a design language for these pieces that exuded confidence, intelligence, and a touch of elegance. This firmly positioned the products at a premium price point. Then we incorporated the look into related products to give them a consistent family appearance.

Our contributions to these projects included 2-D and 3-D concept development, 3D CAD modeling, prototyping, and engineering.

We have designed and engineered other electronic products such as a fan, footbath, or GPS unit.
