Priority Designs helps develop new products for Hague

Recently Priority Designs helped water treatment specialists Hague develop several new products; the Hague WaterMax and WaterBoss water softners. Most water softners tend to look very industrial, but Hague and Waterboss wanted a look for their products that expressed the higher level of engineering and exclusive features for which their products are known. To communicate these ideas, we endowed them with a more "consumer friendly" appliance look. Soft lines and styling that are contemporary, confident, and cleanable.

Both the WaterBoss and the Hague WaterMax were designed to replace previous blow molded cabinetry with all injection molded parts, without compromising internal volume or exceeding shipping crate restrictions. The WaterBoss was designed to have all components in one compact chassis
with a low profile in mind for under-counter applications overseas. The WaterBoss also includes an innovative sliding cover that makes refilling easy and keeps out moisture for outdoor installations. And finally, the shapes of both units are intended to make transport and installation in the home less burdensome than competitive designs.

Priority Design's contribution to the project includes; 2-D concept development, 3-D CAD development of the outer housings and 3-D prototyping.
