Priority Designs wins five 2003 GOOD DESIGN Awards
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design has awarded
Priority Designs with five GOOD DESIGN Awards for 2003. Founded in
1950, the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design organized
its first international competition and exhibition five decades ago.
This distinguished design competition continues to be a showcase
to “honor products and industry leaders, both in design and
manufacturing, who have chartered new directions for competitive
products in the world marketplace.” Products are juried on
criterion including innovation, form, materials, construction, concept,
function and utility. The GOOD DESIGN Award publicly acknowledges
new innovative product design from the world’s most prestigious
industrial design firms and manufacturers in over 20 countries.
Said Paul Kolada, Priority Designs' principal "We are very
pleased to once again be recognized by the Chicago Anthenaeum for
our work. While we focus our attention more on designing successful
products than winning awards, we very much appreciate being recognized
by the design community." Priority Designs also won GOOD DESIGN
