Priority Designs develops new foot spas for Homedics.

Homedics, a leading provider of personal wellness products, recently introduced a new line of foot spas. Designed by Priority Designs, the products feature a host of meaningful new innovations.

Created by senior designers Mike Lorenz and Mark Mnich, the Priority Designs team helped develop several new features to add comfort and aid usage to the foot spas. Senior designer Mike Lorenz said, "It was important to Homedics that we find new ways of adding value to these products while maintaining their current price margins. So, we tried to capture the experience you would have if you actually went to a high-priced spa. For the Pedicure Spa we developed features like the pull-out pedicure wand system, a gel pad to rest your heal and simulated sea grass inside the tub. These allow users to give themselves a relaxing foot massage or a pedicure while enjoying the bubbles. It's a more complete foot care experience now. We also added the soft touch carry handles, hand grips and accessory storage which helps drain, transport and store the foot spa.

"Homedics was excited by the final designs" said project manager Mark Mnich, "and the initial response from retailers has been exceptional."

Services for Homedics include: 2D and 3D concept development, 3D CAD modeling, prototyping, and soft goods development.
