Ryan Eder to speak at Shanghai Design Biennial

Priority Designs industrial designer, Ryan Eder, will be traveling abroad to China to present at the upcoming Shanghai Design Biennial, September 18-20.

The design festival brings in world-renowned designers from around the globe to exchange views in all different types of design categories in an attempt to create new ideas and passions that will continue to make the world a better place to live. Hence, this year’s theme to the exhibition is “Better Design, Better Life.”

Eder’s presentation, “A Vision of Equality,” will detail the design process behind his IDEA award-winning concept for “The Access,” an exercise machine that accommodates both wheelchair-bound and fully mobile individuals. He will discuss how design is much more than a mere aesthetic exercise, and that it can provide deeper meaning and powerful, life-improving benefits to a product’s end user.
