Principal
Paul Kolada owns and manages Priority Designs, an internationally respected industrial design consulting firm with more than 50 designers, engineers, model makers and administrative staff. Founded in 1990, Priority Designs has experienced consistent growth and international recognition and counts among its client’s industry leaders Lowe’s, American Standard, Mead and TaylorMade-adidas Golf. Paul is a team leader and facilitator for projects ranging from consumer electronics, plumbing, industrial/medical to sporting equipment and has presented at industry conferences on topics such as entrepreneurship, eco-friendly product design and customized sporting goods. Paul received his degree in Industrial Design from the University of Michigan.

Senior Industrial Designer/Director of Business Development
Mark’s mechanical design and manufacturing expertise is vital to Priority’s development of products that meet the marketing and budget targets for clients. Mark works with both domestic and offshore manufacturing and has more than 11 years experience. He has led numerous large-scale programs. After receiving a B.A. in Business Administration from Otterbein College, Mark earned his Industrial Design degree from Columbus College of Art and Design.

Model Shop Manager
Every great Priority Designs’ concept comes to life through the prototyping and model shop. Chris has 17 years experience in prototyping everything from cell phones to refrigerators with ten years overseeing Priority Designs’ model shop. With a staff of six full-time and four part-time prototypers, he manages the creation of models ranging from beta-production consumer electronics to large appliances, even plumbing products. Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University.

Senior Industrial Designer
Joe has blended industrial design with mechanical engineering for a wide range of product development solutions from
intricate medical devices to thermal heating appliances. Nothing shows off his mechanical mind more than his work on
designing cars for the Industrial Designers Society of America’s annual Derby competition. His designs optimize such
factors as friction, weight, gravity and mechanical advantage and have been top performers the past three years.Joe received his Industrial Design degree from The Ohio State University.

Mechanical Engineer
Josh specializes in consumer electronic product design, which combines his keen understanding of how consumers
want to use their electronic tools, with his analytical and engineering expertise. He began his design career as a mechanical
engineer for Dell Computers’ product development division in Texas. Josh is one of Priority’s accomplished Derby car
designers, creating cars that leverage technology to edge out designers from the nation’s top studios and corporations at
the annual event. Josh received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Ohio State University. .

Senior Industrial Designer
Michael champions Priority Designs’ home décor division which has helped shape the North American home for the past 17 years. With designs for faucets, tubs, sinks, entry doors, appliances, furniture and lighting his work can be found in every room in the house and even on the patio. Michael’s work also takes him beyond home décor into market analysis, design strategies, and understanding of consumer trends. His expertise is in directing large, multi-faceted product development projects. Michael graduated from the University of the Arts in Industrial Design.
