CLIENT: TaylorMade Golf
To experience a brand is to understand it. When TaylorMade Golf
wanted to create a brand experience for professionals, press and
dignitaries on the PGA Tour, they asked us to help them further develop their brand.
Traditionally, golf companies have a mobile van that travels with
the PGA Tour to service the equipment of professional golfers. TaylorMade
wanted to take this consumer experience further, showcasing their commitment
to providing “the best performance in the world” with
a brand experience that was second to none.
We developed the interior and exterior of an 18-wheel truck to create an awesome experience for golf professionals. It houses
a state-of-the-art club service lab, an executive office, and a media
deck. Materials that evoke performance were used, as well as TaylorMade’s
corporate colors. Machined metal accents were used extensively throughout
the truck to as a reminder of TaylorMade’s metal wood heritage.
Details like the Gatling gun hood ornament remind viewers of TaylorMade’s “take
no prisoners” attitude.
The TaylorMade truck has been a highly successful brand experience for the company and helped stand out from their competitors at
PGA events.
