PROJECT:  3D computer animations and visualization

CLIENT:  Electrolux

3D computer animations can be exceptionally powerful tools in communicating new ideas. When Electrolux wanted to test a new appliance feature in focus groups, they asked us for help. We took computer models of the appliances and then animated them with movement that illustrated the new feature. Next, we shot live action video with a person against a “green screen." We incorporated the video and computer animations together for a very realistic movie that showed a person interacting with a conceptual product.

As a result of the 3D computer animations, the focus groups were able to easily understand the new feature and Electrolux got the answers they needed.
