CLIENT: Ohio Steel (2007)

PROJECT: Lawn Dump Cart - lawn and garden product design

Ohio Steel wanted to offer a trailer that could carry 750 pounds of dirt. We designed and enginereed a completely new dump cart design for them to sale at major home retailers.
in addition to complete CAD design, our engineers used F.E.A. software to refine the design and meet the strength requirements without over-engineering it. The benefit being a stronger part that saved manufacturing cost. Our F.E.A. models passed the retailer’s field-testing specifications and gave Ohio Steel the confidence to proceed to production.
