Nike and Priority Designs collaborated to bring this line of flagship irons to market by combining their engineering and our collaborative design expertise. Nike’s engineers and designers established the performance benchmark, and our collective design teams partnered to create the iconic visuals of the Vapor family line.

Design From The Inside Out

Nike’s engineering and sports research teams worked with their pro athletes and identified the opportunity to move the iron’s center of gravity to the center of the clubface, which provides more balanced strikes. The collaborative design challenge was to bring this innovation to the exterior of the design, and to visually connote the accuracy of the club’s performance. Through dozens of iterations and refinement, the innovative “Modern Muscle” was born.

Vapor ProCombo

The Vapor ProCombo brings the Modern Muscle to a forged body. This set features a lightweight RZN insert, born from the RZN technology present in Nike’s line of golf balls. The ProCombo set combines the workability of a blade with the power of a distance iron, perfectly blending precision and power.

The Vapor Speed iron reflects Nike’s commitment to golfers of all types, bringing the innovation of clubs used on tour to players that require maximum forgiveness and distance.
