Over the years, STX Lacrosse has asked us to help design and engineer several lines of protective sports equipment for lacrosse players. We worked with their team to differentiate the lines between rebel and combat influences (i.e. bikers, insects and the martial arts). In addition to the physical protection the gear delivers, it affects players on a psychological level, too. Players feel invincible when they strap on this gear, so it protects their egos as well as their bodies. In 2002, this innovative protective gear was recognized with an IDEA Gold Award.

STX Women's Lacrosse Hand Protection

STX Lacrosse wanted to create extra hand protection for women players. We added compression molded foam gravity filled rubber details to their gloves. These features help protect delicate areas while still remaining flexible and they made the glove look great, too.

Our experience with materials helped bring new innovations to STX and our ability to deliver a complete manufacturing specification package helped ease their off-shore production concerns.
