With almost 25 years of experience in human factors research for product development, including the past dozen years focused on medical devices, Shane applies his expertise to evaluate and inform product development and promote usability of products for end users.
Andrew Miranda, PhD
SR. HUMAN FACTORS SPECIALIST
Cognitive psychology is his bread, human factors is his butter. Andrew has a deep appreciation for the importance of the empirical foundation of human factors and usability research, such as psychology, statistics, and experimental design. A PhD in Human Factors Psychology along with over fifteen years of experience conducting research has helped make him a unique contributor to the human factors research team. Andrew enjoys executing human factors research throughout the product development lifecycle, from early formative usability testing to final human factors validation testing.
Colton Turner, PhD
SR. HUMAN FACTORS SPECIALIST
With a Ph.D. in Human Factors Psychology from Wichita State University, Colton enables the product development team to cater to the end-user by conducting and analyzing user research while applying his knowledge of human factors principles. He enjoys gaining insights from interacting with real users and communicating his research findings to industry partners in a way that will lead to productive design solutions. His natural curiosity allows him to ask important design questions and formulate them into research goals.
Katie Price

With a passion for product testing and usability, Katie is experienced in the preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting of Human Factors studies. Katie’s goal is to be the voice of the user in order to create intentional, thoughtful products for use in the medical and consumer industries.

Ariel brings years of valuable experience in human factors research to the team, with a master’s degree in Human Factors and years of research experience within the medical domain. Sara Bodde, MS

Sara has more than a decade of experience in the field of human factors applied to industries such as Medical, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Defense, and Web and software applications. She has led the development and execution of research conducted in all parts of the design process from idea generation through final user validation testing. Her background in psychology and user design helps her navigate the balance between human factors principles, user needs, and product development.
