Ariel Roy
Human Factors Specialist
Ariel’s goal is to understand how people think and how to make the most safe and effective product possible by considering the needs of the user. With a B.S. and an M.S. in Human Factors Psychology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical, Ariel’s previous experience is predominately in the medical human factors field. From working within a hospital and interviewing nurses to create a safer handoff protocol and shift change to observing surgeries to understand how the preoperative process could be safer, Ariel has brought her knowledge of the medical field to her projects at Priority Designs. At Priority Designs, she moderates research sessions, takes notes, analyzes data, and presents findings.
When not at her desk, you can find her petting the pups that run around our office. When not in the office, she enjoys going to concerts and science museums, being outdoors, travelling, doing art, and being around people and learning about their interests.
