We’re quality control freaks, too. If you’re looking to hold perfect tolerances (±.005”) and improvise an assembly process, we can. Finessing the final product at a production level can be difficult. Before you spend significant amounts of resources in production tooling, we can simulate a streamlined solution at a more tolerable level. We combine all areas of expertise to fabricate any and all types of products. There’s more than a dozen ways to assemble a product and get it ready for market.
Multiple-body assemblies that house multiple mechanical and electrical components understandably create confusion when it all comes together. We tend to fabricate prototypes as efficient as possible from the beginning stages of development. We support and inventory off-the-shelf fasteners, hardware, and materials to make products efficient as possible in order to forecast the mass production outcome.

Case Study: 90 Prototypes in 15 days
Long-time partner Global Technology Ventures gave us a call with what they called a “Hot Quote.” Their client, a high-performance vehicle manufacturer, needed 30 sets of color-matched taillights for an upcoming race event. There was just one issue: we wouldn’t receive the master parts until two weeks before the deadline.
After nearly a decade and over 100 projects together, mostly centered on automotive lamp prototyping, GTV knew exactly who to call. They needed speed, precision, and problem-solving on the fly. That’s where our prototyping team thrives.
To make the timeline work, we started before the masters even arrived, machining parting-line blocks on our 5-axis CNC mill to streamline mold-making and reduce silicone waste, while our casting team developed a custom translucent red tint through iterative test chips.
Once the masters were in hand, we immediately began pouring molds, casting parts, and reusing masters to expand production, with autoclave curing helping ensure clarity and strength. In just two weeks, our team produced more than 60 taillight lenses, working around the clock and introducing a faster mold-line process that cut hours from each cycle. These lenses shipped out and went straight onto vehicles headed to the track, helping GTV and its client get a full fleet to the track on time.
There's no question that working with PD helped maked this product a success. There were many short-cuts we could've taken, but the PD team helped create a bigger vision.
