TEXTURES AND FINISHES TO SIMULATE PRODUCTION
Often, specialty finishing is a complex finish that requires additional resources or processes. It is used to create a unique appearance or provide a solution as an alternative process. When the texture of a part needs to be simulated rather than produced, a specialty finish is applied. To save the cost of a cast or over molded part, specialty finishing can often aid to achieve the desired look.
GETTING THE LOOK OR FUNCTION YOU NEED
Specialty finishes range from providing improved strength, to adding textures to additional properties. Each project is different, but with a variety of solutions, our team will achieve the desired qualities. Using a soft touch finish, we are able to provide a product that looks and feels like the indented material. With candy paint or tinted clears we can reference a sample chip, perform spray out testing on parts to confirm a finish, and provide the tinting to mimic a smoke tint on a clear part. Even the most difficult effects are achieved in specialty finishing, even applying a color clear coat over chrome.
