Case Study: Deca-Medics CPR Assist
Our experience designing medical devices gave Deca-Medics the confidence to approach us with patented technology that helps paramedics perform CPR easily. We engineered a way to ease fatigue by using mechanical advantage. Our device also provides audible and visual cues to prompt the proper CPR cadence. We lab-tested our prototype to evaluate ergonomics and validate the concept. With our design, Deca-Medics was able to proceed with testing toward FDA approval.
